Q: I have a small kitchen garden in my house. I have planted tomato, brinjal, ladies finger, soft gourd, bitter gourd etc...the problem is all the plants are bearing flowers, but before they get pollinated the flowers fall off. I'm not able to get veggies from them. What should I do to control this? - J...
A: Due to prevailing high temperature pollination is hindered resulting in abortive flowers. Maintain proper humidity by providing shallow irrigation. Avoid use of pesticides in kitchen garden. If necessary use neem leaf decoction or Malathion 2ml/litre water for spray in case of insect incidence.
